China reportedly built the world’s strongest magnet for scientific research at a lab in the south east town of Hefei, in the Anhui province, a report by the South China Morning Post reveals.
This magnet is claimed to be around the size of a coin, having a diameter of only thirty-three millimetres. In spite of its modest size, it produces a steady magnetic field of 45.22 tesla, which is in excess of a million times more potent than the Earth’s magnetic field.
